Busy Busy Busy

What a week it has been!! I've had a sale nearly everyday this week - it's so encouraging. I have 2 dresses to make by the end of this week to post off to customers aswell. Thankfully the fabric I ordered has arrived safely. Anyways, can't stop for long! Also have to create new bags to list as most of the nice ones have gone . . . busy busy busy. . . .

Here's a sneaky peak at my pink workstation...

The sewing machine and I are designing a new clutch today. I feel quite productive as I was approached by a gallery over the weekend who are interested in featuring my work. I'm so excited!!

The Gallery has just opened, they are in West Yorkshire and are called Projeto - check out their photos on Flickr.

Check out my new item!! I love it. Just a short note tonight sadly - I'm listing this as I watch the X-Factor - sad but true :D

FUNKY TEE

I filled a few pages of my sketchbook on Tuesday night with t-shirt designs and I made one yesterday - I'm soo pleased with it. I up-cycled a large mans t-shirt into a rough edged sleeveless tee with a MASSIVE bow on the front. Once again I'd love to keep this one for myself but I'll just have to make another one instead. It was posted up on Etsy yesterday - take a peak! x

Winter Comfort

WOW! Ilovemynewdress :D
The snow the other day inspired me to make a warm jersey dress for winter that I can wear with my new boots (which should be arriving in the post any day now - yay) and bright tights. It has pockets and everything!!

I loved it so much I thought I should share it with the world and sell some on Etsy.

In doing this I realised how much more I love making clothes than bags and hopefully I'll be making a lot more for Etsy in future.

What do you think of the dress? I think it could do with a flower brooch around the neckline or even a whole gathering of them - any ideas?

Needles are for sewing machines.

The first snow fell last week!! I couldn't believe my eyes - snow in October ... brrrr.

Thought I'd share that with you :)

I invested in some jersey yesterday and I'm now looking very much forward to making a winter tulip dress - no doubt it'll be something I'll want to keep for myself but I'm convinced it'll be posted on Etsy by next week.

To spur me on I am listening a lot to Imogen Heap right now, I've also been watching her video blogs - she works extra super hard everyday but loves what she does so she's always really bouncy and happy - it makes me smile. Sad but true. She also wears clothes she buys on Etsy so I like her even more for that :D

On a less happier note though, I have the dentist today and it's going to involve a needle - eeep! Needles should only be attached to my sewing machine not me!!
